Looking for a 3.5 inc VFD with IR receiver

OK, this is a big ask.

I am planning to build an HTPC later this year. Plan A was to use the Antec Fusion v2; now I'm going with Plan B, which is to use the Lian Li C30B.

Unfortunately, the Li Li only offers a 3.5'' external bay, which will not fit the usual VFDs (iMON, for example).

Is there any such thing as a 3.5'' VFD with IR reception? :confused:

I'll settle for an iMON Inside IR panel! Anyone know where to get them?

I've just tried a quick search and found no promising leads I'm afraid, however the rules wouldn't allow the posting of links to competitors anyway.

It does look slightly as if you'll have to compromise one way or the other unfortunately but good luck with the search.

No worries, I'll do some more hunting.

I suspect that the iMON Inside is being phased out now that the VFD model has become "standard". But I have figured out a way to mod it invisibly into my Li Li case, so it'll be great if I can find one.

Just found an iMON Inside! It's a compromise, as you say, but once I've got it stealth modded, it will be a fair trade for the VFD.
