now that ati has released there HD3D driver and with tridef can support 3d on the screen so i dont need to get a nvidia card , but the problem is what monitor do i go for and do any of them come with glasses that arnt nvidias ?
The options are discussed along with some useful links on a recent thread over on my forums if you want to take a look. The ViewSonic 'V3D' and Acer HS244HQ are two models that should be released in the relatively near future that come bundled with proprietary shutter glasses and the 'ATI 3D' seal of approval. I am fairly confident that the ViewSonic will work with the iZ3D driver but I am unsure about the requirements of the Tridef driver and indeed the compatability of Acer's upcoming monitor.
