Looking for a 50cc

Just about to turn 17 and i have myself a ford fiesta i can use, only problem is both my brothers and one of their girlfriends are insured on it, so i thought id have me a 50cc trials bike or something of the sort.

Had a browse on ebay but cant find much, thought id ask about for any good sites for new/used 50cc bikes in the south east :)

Why dont you get a 125.

You'll have to do your cbt anyway.

Also very little price difference between a 50cc and 125

what price you looking at?
 
Why 50cc?

At 17 you could get a bigger bike with restricted power, then de-restrict it when you get your cbt2.

I really really hate those 50cc trials bikes, they make way to much noise, and after they've gone through 5 gears they're still not getting anywhere fast.
 
cimpletely skipped my mind on the whole 125 thing :P

can i drive a 125 on cbt? or would i have to take another test ontop of it?

You can drive a restricted 125 on a cbt max 14.6 bhp.

When you do your full test your then restricted to 33bhp for 2 years. unless you do the direct access when your 21+
 
hmm ok, sounds like a good idea

insurance is also a prob, i have to pay insurance myself... one of my reasons for a 50, doesnt need to be fast just needs to get me around.
