Looking for a bigger LCD, any help? Where to go?

AMD 3800+ Venice
2GB RAM
7800GTX 256mb
Auidy 2ZS

Current Monitor- Viewsonic VP171B.

Im looking for a bigger monitor, I play games a lot so I am very worried about ghosting. 19' are nice, but I want a worthwhile improvement from my current monitor.

The ACER 19 inch monitor is very popular, but I worry about the VGA connection, is DVI not far superior to VGA?

What do you reccomend? I want to spend sub £200 on a monitor before I sold my old one. But the 20inch ones look very nice.

Some people claim to notice a difference. Personally, I cannot see any. My Acer 19" WS is clear and sharp, with excellent colour reproduction, and sod all ghosting. 1400*900 is plenty pixels for gaming, browsing, and watching films. Reproduces flesh tones especially well......

I would heartily recommend the Acer AL1916W to anyone. I couldn't justify the extra cost for the 20" version when I bought it, and I still can't. I'd rather have two 19" WS instead
