looking for a nice set to using in the lounge, bluetooth is a must, none of my wireless RF sets work very well in here. was looking at the MS wireless desktop 7000 but havnt read very encouraging comments on the set..

what else is there? i know the bluetooth dinovo desktop laser is an option. ive got the notebook edition (no BT) and they are very nice keyboards

I quite like the MS 8000 desktop, but the lack of a standard numpad put me off.

It gets decent reviews so thats another option,
or theres the Logitech Desktop MX 5000

yeah the MS 8000 is nice, but its bloody expensive for a keyboard and mouse set lol. i had a look in store at the logi mx 5000, and its horrible. it doesnt like like £100 worth of keyboard at all

I'm afraid that I also have only used the DiNovo non-bluetooth but it was a very good keyboard and mouse combo, if I was in the market for a new keyboard I'd be tempted to buy the bluetooth version on the strength of them alone. :)

This is pricey but it has a touch pad built in and its perfect for what you want. I have one and am very happy with it.

thats what im thinking. my friend has a BT set and i did try it in the lounge and there were no problems at all.

im still undecided about this one. im not sold on the looks, i could really use some real life pictures of the keyboard

what do you guys reckon?

know what you mean about Logitech, they certainly know how to make pig-ugly keyboards!

the dinovo are nice looking however, im not keen on the "edge"
they dont sell this one at OCUK .....but i think its better looking....
diNovo Media Desktop 2.0, mind you that will still set you back £12o.

Ive noticed theres not much choice when it comes to nice looking sets, maybe a combination woud suite better?

To be entirely honest, I'm quite taken by that but I'd be using my G7 with it until that mouse dies, there is no question about which mouse I'll keep going with, while I use a V3 on occasion it is simply because I've forgotten to charge it properly. :)
