It's been a very long time since I've dabbled with computer hardware so I'm a bit out of the loop nowadays.

Anyway, I've decided it's about time I upgraded to a better pc as my existing one is struggling with demand and sounding more like a diesel generator than a pc these days.

My question is, what would be a suitable MB to go with a Phenom II CPU, I'm probably going to go for the X6 1055T (unless someone advises going for the top end X4 for any reason, but that's a dif subject).

I was looking at the Gigabyte AMD 890GX as it's a nice price, is this a good MB to go with? Any other suggestions?

Many thanks :)
