Looking for a cheapo domain reg.

I need to reg a domain to point my hosting at. Can be any type .com/.co.uk/net/etc. Only important thing is to be cheap

Thought i'd post here first as every thread i see about domains the 3rd poster tells the OP that they got 8 domains and a years supply of toothpaste for 8p.

I've always used 123-reg, although there are probably cheaper out there, but its only £2.59 for a .co.uk

2.59x2+vat=£6.09 is what you end up paying for a .co.uk through 123

I use 123-reg myself for my .co.uk sites as it is a very easy to configure package.
As for .coms i use dynahost. Its $7.99 per year which equates to about £4.10 compared to 123's £8.99+VAT per year.

@eightiescrooner: Whilst i use Vidahost myself for my hosting i must say they are cheaper alternatives for domain names. However if you dont have a hosting package yet, they do give you one free domain name regardless whether you pay annually or monthly.

oh yeah, sorry - i normally only get hosting / domain names together. Makes more sense to have the domain name and hosting bought as one, makes things easier overall

and at about £3 a month you can't really complain!
