Looking for a Combat sim,any ideas?

I am realy happy with my current rig. Its got the right bits in the right places but I need a good combat flight sim. I have had a look at the screenshots post and it seems they have advanced almost as fast as other games.

Who is playing/flying what these days?

If you want a modern day sim then you could check out Lock On or Falcon 4 Allied Force, Having played both I like Falcon 4 the best.

If your looking for a world war type combat sim then check out the IL2 series.

Not out yet but one to keep an eye on is Fighter Ops -
