Looking for a deep and involving game, any ideas?

it feels similar to ffxii in terms of fighting as you sort out your team mates tactics similar to the gambit system, its very pick up and play as the ai is good so your team mates dont just rush in and get killed.

It's good to hear that as I really liked the fighting in FF12, the gambit system was great in the way that you could pre-program the characters but also manually control them mid-fight if something needed changing.

I have it ordered for delivery tomorrow so I can get stuck into it over the weekend. :)

Not sure about the 360 versions but Fallout 3 on PS3 Game of the year edition comes with all the DLC.

Wow thats a bargain, each one of them is £7.99 on PSN, looks like ill be getting this :)

This Game of the Year Edition includes the acclaimed Fallout 3 game as well as its five DLC packs link

The 360 version might be the same, I've never looked

Another vote for Lost Odyssey if you haven't already played it. The battle system is turn based and plays like FFX.

Also if you don't mind playing a fps then Bioshock has a good storyline and is a brilliant game. and this is from someone who hates fps :)

Dragon Age :)

Mass Effect

This plus Fallout 3. I haven't played DA on my Xbox though, but on my PC instead so I can't comment on how it controls or looks.

I'd start with Mass Effect really, as it's the least difficult to get in to, as it's a hardcore Bioware RPG but at the same time built for the shooter masses.
