That does look a good spec. I would rather buy my own SSD than buy it from Dell though, since they don't use sata3 drives and they usually cost more than if you buy and fit one yourself. Same thing goes for memory.

Same here. Still, as Rokeldog has ordered the laptop one positive from getting everything from Dell means it's one contact for warranty support regardless of what goes wrong.

Well I've had confirmation of the order now so it must have gone through ok.
Only reason I went for it was the 30% discount code seemed pretty good. I realize you overpay for the upgrades, I considered whether to wait till after the warranty period ended, but I'm not quite that patient.
