Hi

I bought a HP Photosmart printer about 8 months ago and soon after I bought it I replaced all the cartidges at a cost of about £40. I have since printed off about 4 4x6" photos and about 30 A4 sides of normal text/graphics. The ink cartrides now need replacing again! My parents bought the next model up and are having the same problem and so are a lot of other people according to the HP forums.

Can anyone recommend a printer brand with realistic running costs ? I had thought about either canon or epson. I have been told that the Kodak printers are unreliable.

Thanks

For cheap inks it has to be Kodak but the reliability is shocking.

I picked up a Epson SX515W last week, A full set of official inks will cost between £28-35 depending where they are bought from.
