Hey mate im wondering what is a mild setting for the two ram related voltages in the bios?

Im running 4.7 1.36v 24/7 with all four dimms loaded with ripjawx 8-8-8-24-2T 1600mhz sticks which seems to work flawless without any black screens so far touch wood!

Ive tried 1866mhz 9-9-924-1T and havent noticed any issues or instability and would like to try for 2133mhz 1T if possible?

I was thinking of 10-10-10-30 1T if possible? the two ram ralated voltages are the two which must be kept within something like 0.05v between the two or something? Ive bumped my ram to 1.55V and probably need something very mild to help 2133mhz.

:D

That particular set of RipjawX is low binned PSC. Whilst it will run great around 1600mhz at tight timings it does not really overclock too well. I tried some myself.

High binned PSC is amazing for clocking but with volts.

If you do really wish to push the mhz at reasonable volts go with a hynix based IC or Samsung.

Hey again mate,im gonna ditch the ripjaws i think for something around £100.

Can you reccomend anything? I had the CPU doing 4700 @ 1.370v with 2x8GB 1600 but ideally i want to open her up and give her some 2133 with tight timings ie 1T or some nice 2400mhz stuff at 1T and keep my 4700.

ATM im using 4 banks of ripjaws @ 1600 1T and i thought that if i went to only 2 sticks of 16GB 2x8 i could stress it a little less and possible get 2133 or 2400mhz.

My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V-PRO and i have been looking to find some 1.5v ram with no much luck apart from Samsung green which is 4 dimms (avoid 4 dimms) or this stuff

Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2x8GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX24C11T3K2/16X)

Corsair Memory Vengeance Jet Black 16GB DDR3 2133 MHz CAS 10 XMP Dual Channel Desktop

BTW just missed someone on MM selling
Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2x8GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX24C11T3K2/16X for £60

:( apparantly he said it caused his OC to become unstable and bought new ram.Am i missing something about this ram or why he did that? Why not just downclock and set really tight timings @ 1.5v say c9 or c0 at 2133 with 1T timings?
