I'm looking to find a humorous simple but fun game to play for me and my Mrs. Couch potato Saturday night sorta thing. Single player, two player, turn based. Not bothered. But it's gotta be fun. Xbox controller on a pc. I'd happily buy a cheap second hand console if the game was highly recommended.
I played Abes' odyssey and Exodus plus Spyro the dragon series years ago on the playstation with my ex. They were a whole lot of fun.
Any suggestions please?

It takes 2 is pretty good couch co-op.

Baldur's gate 3 is fantastic and has decent split screen. Though might be a bit too meaty for what you want. Have played a bit with my wife and kind of difficult to set the time aside to get the most out of it together.

Fall guys is fun and we just pass the controller back and forth.

Silly little game called drink more glurp is also good for short sessions. It's wacky sports events where you control your guys arms independently with the sticks.

Thank you StarShock

I'm having a look at your suggestions. Gameplay video on Baldurs Gate looks a bit too serious. Not too many laughs.
Fall guys might be worth a go. Might not get invested in the character(s) though. Drink more Gulp looks a bit fast paced.

Many thanks for the suggestions. I'm an old fart, I know.

Thank you so much Emo_hug, for taking the time to make all those suggestions. It's going to take a good old while for me to plough through them and see what I can present to her majesty for royal approval.

only thing that outs me off "It Takes 2" is the origin requirement through steam :/ BUT by all acccounts its a fab Co-op game !
that makes me think of : "Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (single play but could work co-op sharing controller

"drink more glurp" does look interesting so added :) thanks not heard of it before.

some others
Gang Beasts
Pummel Party
PICO PARK - this looks cute and nteresting
edit : forgot : Bread & Fred - looks good for co-op
Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers

this is a usfull site i forgot about untill now : https://www.co-optimus.com/games.php
worth having a look through if nothing really grabs your attention

can run on inegrated graphics also so a plus on low sysem requirements, although i probably would suggest not running it on integrated unless you needed to, there is a slight stutter and system heats up quicky.

theres always Board games as well.
