Last game I completely lost myself in was Cyberpunk, Which I actually really liked, So now looking for something new/old.

Any recommendations in the RPG or story heavy category are welcome

Have you played Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 or Horizon Zero Dawn?

All three are very story driven..

I've just lost myself in Days Gone. Didn't expect much but its all I can play, really enjoying it.

I second Days Gone, I was quite surprised how much time I spent on this game.
Recore: The Definitive Edition is another time waster.

Replayed both 1 & 2 last year, the remaster versions. Still hold up well, still as great as you will remember.

Possibly Death Stranding, but I really didn't get along with it.

I can see why people like it, but I found it to be a "walking with a heavy backpack" simulator.

I sort of liked it but agree with its courier element wont suit most. The music is pretty good early on and the graphics do look great.

Thirded! Started my third replay of this last night. Great game, with superb visuals. It’s very slow going at first but gets better later.
