Hi there.

Im thinking about buying the Titan 8900i Plasma from Overclockers as people i know and myself have had good experiences with them in the past.

However, it is quite a lot of money (something like £1100) and i aren't sure I would recieve the full benefits of the system.

The games I play currently and what I would be playing are things such as CS:GO, D3, WoW, Borderlands 2, Planetside 2, Fallouts, Skyrims and probably some future games. I do not like to play games in low graphics or anything like that. I was wondering if there is any systems on OC which are "futureproof", but a little cheaper? I've looked at a couple, but they all have ATI or AMD graphics cards in them, I've not had the best experiences with either of them in the past and my current GeForce one hasnt even burped. So by the time i've added a GeForce card, its more or less the same price. I appreciate that the gfx card is a large percentage of the actual cost.

Maybe im been unreasonable? And its an excellent buy for the money? Just my actual technological knowledge is very limited. I just like to use them, not know about whats going on inside! :P

Any help/points would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Plus it would be a lot of money for me to mess up. I did look in to it a while back, and there is a lot which could go wrong. I just wouldn't trust myself :)

Ok. I'll have a look at them a bit later as I have to go shopping shortly. Quick one though - Is it doable from a complete novice? But not a complete moron? I work within operating theatres doing surgery and anaesthetics and such. So its not like I can not follow simple instructions. Im just a little wary.

Building your own is quite easy :) just a few golden rules to follow. Build it yourself does give you an even bigger smile when you start it for the first time too, and you will get exactly what you want with more bang for your buck.
