Looking for a good keyboard/mouse

Hi guys, planning to get a new keyboard and mouse, which will need to be pretty good for a bit of gaming (BF3, BFBC2 and dragon age 2), and typing long essays/ schoolwork without discomfort. Do you guys have any ideas? I don't have a lot of ideas on the keyboard, but I've heard good things about their MX518 mouse, and their excellent customer service, can anyone help me on this? cheers

Thanks shibbzy, So I understand a good mouse is the way to go, and keyboards it doesn't really matter as long as it's decent quality?

Oh and kd, my budget is around 50 for both I guess?

But if I can nab a mx518 for £17, what keybiard would you suggest? The sideiwnder x4? The logitech G110 is oout of my price range.
