Basically im looking to down size my current system (full tower) and will be buying a small mATX case to make travelling to LANs easier.

Needs the usual Core 2, DDR2, PCIe, SATA2, onboard sound, etc..

Any suggestions as to which is a decent board with some room to overclock?

I've seen the MSI G965M or the Abit SG87 which seem quite good.

Thoughts?

Yup, what 'e said. :)

Running the P5K-VM here, it's powering a pretty high spec gaming system, and it's a good board. I've had it priming at 3GHz with my E6600, however temps get high due to bad cooling so it's at stock for now.

Oh, and it supports the new 45nm Penryn processors due out later this year.
