I'm new to this laptop business. I'm looking for a reasonably light laptop to use around the house and for trips etc that's capable of some gaming (total war series, civ 5, day z etc). With the games I play I imagine an HD4000 or trinity apu alone isn't going to cut it at 1600x900 or above. ideally I'm looking for something close to around 13" with a decent resolution (more than 768p). Budget is around £800 but ideally less.

1) I realise my budget isn't huge; are there any decent AMD laptops (15" or below) that have decent gaming performance and are still light with a decent screen res?

2) I understand that the trinity APUs when combined in crossfire with a discrete midrange card can give pretty good performance (comparable to gt650 performance) - is this something I should be considering or is the crossfire on these laptops more trouble than it's worth?

3) Any suggestions on such a machine, or should I just get a kepler-based laptop? (lenovo y580, msi ge60 etc)

4) Does it make sense to import from another EU country? - seems like you can save around 20% getting from say, Germany... is this a bad idea?!
