Hi guys

Currently got a GTX480 that I bought from here in 2011. Looking to get an upgrade that can handle the new star wars game coming out.

I'm a web developer so like haivng a lot of screen space. I've got 2 x 24" monitors at the moment but would like to future proof it and maybe add a third, possibly higher resolution next year.

Will I need two graphics cards or just one very powerful card?

Budget will be £600.

I'm using a GTX 760 to run a 4K in the centre, plus two 1080p on the sides.

If you wanted to run triple monitor gaming, then you would need a very beefy solution, but if you're gaming on one screen I'd go for a 980 Ti on that budget.

You don't need two cards just for the sake of the three monitors, only if you want to go SLI.

Hi,

Do you wish to game across three monitors in one large wide-screen setup, or play on one and the other two for use for work?

£600 gets a 980ti, that can run three screens and play games.

Your full spec and what connectors your screens gave will help.

2 x 108p monitors at the moment. One has DVI input. The other has DVI/HDMI.

OK,

Setup is fine and a nice big case and a nice PSU.

Lots of 980/980ti cards have multiple monitor support including at least one DVI output.

Have you considered sourcing a second 480 for SLI?

This will give you three monitor support, and I'm sure a good jump in performance- my 580 SLI are fine with GTA V etc, assuming you find a 480 for say between £40 - £50, it's a cheap option, perhaps do this for 12months and then drop the big outlay on the next gen maybe?
