Looking for a Hi-Fi with surround Outlets at the back

Sorry, I'm a bit lost.
Are you looking for an AV system, a stereo system, how much do you want to spend, do you need all components, just an amp, advice on cabling etc etc?

Give us a little more steer, and we'll see what we can do.

Asking for a brand is not too helpful. I could happily suggest you buy an aiwa for £100, or a full blown Meridian system for £100k. You need to be a little more helpful in your requirements.

Sorry about the confusion.

I am just looking for the stereo system with enough outputs on the back of it for surround sound. It can be any old system as long as it has that. So the cheaper the better :)

Thank you :)

Best bet if you dont wanna spend loads of money is to head on over to Richer Sounds and have a chat with one of the sales people. Maybe get the Mission surround speaker package with a half decent surround amp and dvd player. Won't be as good as using a seperate stereo amp and cd player to play your audio cd's through but thats about the best and cheapest way of doing it.

Thank you fireblade, I will do that :)

Mat: If I said the wrong thing, its because I don't know anything about hi-fi systems etc. so I was looking for help. If you can't help, don't post.

Dude, you want a stereo with multichannel connectors, thats an oxymoron which is what I stated. Well actually its not but good as, there aren't many 5.1 decoders with a 2 channel amp these days. I suspect what you are looking for (and its a very loose suspicion because you leaving a lot to guess work) is a 5.1 reciever, but really unless you can state what you are trying to do with it you're leaving us all in the dark.

If you take a good look around you'll see I'm one of the first people to jump in and try and help whenever I can, I'll help you, if you can express what you need but at the moment the question you're asking doesn't make sense, rephrase it and lets have a shot at getting you the hardware you need.
