Looking for a high res laptop

Hi all,

I'm about to start a year of studies that is going to involve me moving around quite a bit, so I'm looking to buy a laptop with the following features, I do have a desktop at home that I am happy with and I don't really game much any more:

I'm looking for:
Decent processing power,
preferably screen res of more than 1000 vertically, definitely no less than 700, I play a lot of poker as a hobby and need to fit at least 4 tables on the screen.

Failing that I could consider a smaller screened laptop, but with decent processing and graphics power so I can bring a screen with me to plug it in.

My price range is perferably around 500-600 quid, possibly a little more if it's really worth it.

sony e-series seems best bet. for around £650 you can get it was i think 2gb ram, the lower (but still apparently good) cpu, the highest gpu, and hi-res screen of 1950x1050 (or whatever the exact numbers usually are around that amount)
