evening guys, hope you all had a great xmas.
I was supposed to buy my parents ( mostly my dad) a new laptop for xmas but due to work and my research failure I couldn't do so.
I have a limited budget of £500 I could go a little more, now its a little bit on the personal side with laptops with my parents so I m taking my mum with me to the purples to have a look around to see which she gets on well with, but the spec is for my dad.
i think he will need a dual core ( no more) of ethoir AMD or intel it makes no difference
a screen size of at least 14 inch but no more than 15
HDD space of around 250...don't need anymore than 500Gb
it defo needs a GPU chip of some sort ethoir AMD or Nvidia ( for that I know its hard)
win 7 is a must also
RAM 3Gb or more
my dad is well in with his simulators like truck sim, train sim etc so it needs to be able to handle that. on native res (768) on meduim settings...
its going to be used as a desktop replacment but I don't think I can afford anymore than £500 not effectivly anyways
any suggestions ? I m just taking my mum up to the purples as I stated for a browes than see were we go from there and I ll look up the make and model via google googles or something for the cheapest.
