Looking for a laptop

Im looking for a laptop for christmas, budget is about £600 max. I will be playing some games like soldier of fortune and maybe css if it would run on it. I like the look of the Dell 1501, 1 of the guys on here got that and said it ran games ok.
The one on here for 580 looks fine.
