Looking for a mechanical keyboard.

After I spilt a drink on my keyboard it has made the spacebar and some other keys stick so I need a new one.

Thought I'd go mechanical this time since I've always liked the feel of them.

While I'm not averse to them I don't need any gimmicks like backlights, I can touch type after all I'm not a n00b.

Noise doesn't matter, I'm not using it in a library, what matters is durability and user friendliness.

I'm mainly using it for typing and not gaming so don't really need any gaming features either.

Any recommendations please?

I know it's backlit but my mate has one and says its the best thing since sliced bread. Also has blue switches which are the best IMO for typists.

cherry have always made excellent keybaords in the low end price range being responsible for one of our best selling keyboards around the £20 mark .

Real no frills keyboard but does exactly what it should.

Thanks. In the end I went for the Cherry MX cheapo one and I find the difference remarkable. The number of mistakes I am making today is less than my old keyboard and I haven't even had time to settle in to this one yet!
