Hey guys,
I'm looking for a compact mirrorless camera as a second camera to my D5100 - to take to gigs and to carry around in general when I don't want to take my bigger camera; something that'd fit in a coat pocket would be ideal.
I have a budget of £350.
I'm edging towards the Nikon J1 at the moment as it is small, within my price range and produces great images but a downside I've found is that it does not have the ability to select the focus point of an image (though I'm not sure how big of a deal this is or how intelligent the auto system is).
I've also seen other high-end cameras without interchangeable lenses such as the Lumix LX5 which seems to have good reviews but I am not sure how this sort of camera would stack up against the mirrorless interchangeable lens market.
Can anyone provide me with an insight into the above?
