Hi guys

I know £100 is not going get me a super awesome
gaming monitor, but currently I'm using an old lcd
tv for my ps4 gaming so looking into buying
a new monitor.

I will be sitting around 2-4 feet away from my desk so no idea what size I will need and I many play FPS, fifa and wrc.

Please help me find the right monitor for my gaming

thanks

With that tight budget you're basically locked to 24" 1080p or smaller.

You could look at something like this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/acer...s-widescreen-led-monitor-black-mo-114-ac.html which I would favour over a TN panel of the same size, but I wouldn't expect much by way of quality control (e.g. dead pixels, backlight bleed) at this price point.

Unless you're absolutely desperate, I'd seriously consider waiting a while and trying to double your budget, at which point there will be some much better 24" options open to you :)

Thanks for the reply.

My Lcd is pretty much on its way out.
I don't play my Games for hours on end maybe 2-3 Hours
3-4 times a week if lucky.

so did not fancy paying too much, I could stretch to £150
but I feel that would be my limit..

thanks

Ok, well, £150 does at least put you in range of some better manufacturers/models, but you're still basically going to be 24" 1080p.

Personally I'd be inclined to keep an eye on this upcoming one from Samsung and see how its reviews turn out: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sams...s-widescreen-lcd-monitor-black-mo-22e-sa.html

Be wary of picking up a cheap TN panel... the 6-bit colour depth can be disappointing if you don't know what you're getting!
