Looking for a monitor, is this c/ratio ok

All the specs look great apart from the contrast ratio of only 1000:1

1000:1 is as good as it gets afaik besides VA-panels.. and they have other issues.

Think your confusing the 1000:1 with dynamic contrast ratio's which are fairly useless. If the monitor is made so with a completely black screen it turns off the backlight then it has an awesome dynamic contrast ratio which in practice is completely useless. Looks like a decent monitor and you should remove the link as OC UK doesn't allow linking to competitors.
