looking for a new amp -- thinking this one (Yamaha DSP-AX863SE)

Hello,

The last 3 amps i have owned have all been yamahas and i have always been happy with them,

it has been a while since i last updated it as i currently have the DSP-A1092,

The new one i have been looking at is the Yamaha DSP-AX863SE witch i can get for around £550, i have read a few reviews and it seems like another winner from Yamaha,

can users please let me know your thoughts, would be a bonus hearing from anyone who has this amp

i was going to get that amp but at the time stock was nowhere to be found and i found it a bit on the ugly side lol, otherwise its a fantastic amp.

i thought it didnt look bad at all, appart from the exposed bits to the right at the front,
my current amp is pretty much all covered up and now looking a bit old so maybe anything is looking good to me at the moment lol

it was priced at the £800 mark but recently had a huge price reduction, but still not 100% sure yet,

there will be a cover for those front inputs so dont worry about those, its always had that RRP but most places cut prices as you know

well so far that is top of my list, havent bothered looking at a 2nd or 3rd option lol

i think that amp pretty much covers it all

I've got the 863SE and it's a great amp. You'll do well to find one though as they've been on back order for months.

I just happened to stumble on one in a shop in London.

Oh, and there's no cover for the front inputs.

I've got the predecessor 861SE, and its a great amp. Ooodles of power and great functionality. And yes, theres no cover for the uggo front ports

my bad, i saw my amp without the cover on in pics but it did actually have a cover, thought this would be the same.
