Looking for a new case.

Hey guys. Be needing a new case as since going sli with the x2 560ti its getting a bit warm. So been looking around at stuff come across a few things like the silverstone raven 2 and 3, but not that sure. Somthing to cool things down and i guess if its possiable to quite things down.

So budget i guess max £150.

My current case is Cooler Master CM-690 II Lite.

the raven's are a good case as there on there side basicly so your getting better air into and out of the case, the CM 690 should be a good enough case tho really, loads of room in them!

The case has been ok. But since i think the raven will do a better job. The noise level can a get on ya a bit with the msi twin frozas 560s, as the fan cranks up when playing bf3.

If the cm690 is deemed good i guess i just need some more fans?? Only got the ones that came with.

I think from looking around these past few days the raven seems the best. Only decsion is i guess is it the raven 2 or 3 ??

Raven RV02 has better cooling than RV03 and is more quiet.(RV03 cooling is very good still)

The Raven RV03 has a bit more room for cable management however but it's good enough on Raven RV02 anyway.

Good advice there man thank you. Gonna be driving to overclockers on thursday, and pick up some stuff as been given some money for xmas.

Thanks for the advice hopefully OC has the E version of the raven2. Probley pick up some more fans also.

You will not need more fans trust me

i have mine on low all the time in a warm room yet my temps never go high.Your cards should probably hit 70-75c max in most intensive games like Witcher 2/Metro 2033/Shogun 2/BF3.

Post some pics when you get and let us know how it goes as i am going SLI soon.(might wait for 6 series and SLI them though)

Yeah no probs defo get some pics up. Probley be around xmas time when its all togther, as the items i am looking at are being bought for me.

No extra fans well thats good news i guess. But the cooler the better i guess.

Just come back from OC. Got the silverstone raven 2 and picked up an ssd and a cpu cooler. Sad thing is there for xmas haaa. Thanks for the advice with the case the box is massive haa.
