Hi all.

I’m in the middle of doing a new build and I’m after a new 140mm PWM fan for the cpu heat sink.
I’ve been running Akasa Vipers on my current rig for the last three years and there pretty good but there must be something better out by now, and hopefully better looking.
Can anyone suggest one or two that I should have a look at?

Cheers :)

Air flow Vs noise are the important statistic's.

The Viper pushes 110CFM @ 26dB, the Enermax pushes 117m3/h = 69CFM @ 15dB.

Years of experience have shown me that manufacturers' specs are usually exaggerated .. unless they are commercial fans like Nidec, Delta or Sanyo.

My personal favorite 140mm fans are Thermalright TY-140 series fans. The TY-147 is black housing with white fan. If I want more rpm and airflow I use TY-143 fans. They are 2500rpm maximum rpm but will happily run at 600rpm and are near silent at 1000rpm.
