Looking for a new headset.

Hello OCUK! After my Turtle Beach Z2 headphones dying on me I'm looking for a new headset, Looking to spend around £40-80 and I also have a Asus Xonar D2. Primary use will be gaming but also listening to some music. Trying to get an idea of what I should avoid completely, I have owned both Turtle Beach Z2 and X1, moving from the X1 to the Z2 I was not so impressed with a lack of bass, a headphone amp didn’t seem to work either (wasn’t expensive). I've used a pair of Razer Carcharias and they seemed pretty good. So in my price range which headsets should I be looking at and which should I not touch?
