Hey,

I have an Saitek Eclipse keyboard on my main desktop which I use for work.
Until work gave me a macbook pro to work on for stuff I need OSX for, I loved that keyboard. I'm very much a windows person, that's the machine I play games on, relax on, and normally work on unless I need to mac.

I can't get over just how nice the keyboard is on the Macbook pro though. It's so so much nicer, the back light is a nicer, more classy colour, the keys are nice to press, they don't go down as much and make a nice click, rather than the eclipse buttons which go down fairly far.

I probably actually can't type as fast on the macbook keyboard but much prefer the look and feel of it, so i'm looking for something like it for my windows PC.

Is there anything that you would suggest? I know I can get a mac keyboard for windows... but, then I feel like i'm cheating.

Thanks,
Steve

Then a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard, which I have and rate highly. A word of warning if gaming, as the latest versions have key ghosting problems.

A cheaper alternative would be a Logitech UltraX, which I use at work. It's not illuminated, but it's got a nice 'laptop' typing feel (scissor mechanism with rubber domes). Or an apple keyboard, which I don't think are illuminated either.

and a whole bunch of videos on the LIK...

OMG i think i vomitted in my mouth a bit

That's just silly... It might not be the ideal keyboard for you but it's hardly repulsive is it!

I think it looks great and apparently it performs well too (not sure about any ghosting issues though...)

I'm a big Logitech fanboi so anything of theirs is a good suggestion - although, I do have a softspot for backlit keys and gimmicky stuff, so for that reason, I'd suggest the G110 for a more 'traditional' (ish) look, or G510 if you want a LCD screen too...
