Looking for a new laptop

I am heading to uni this September and I am in the market for a new laptop as I will not have space for my desktop.

I want to be able to play games and also do my uni work, I also want it to be fairly thin. I have a budget of about £2000.

Could someone please recommend some laptops for me to have a look at. Thanks.

That laptop appears to be the thinnest on offer at the moment from what I can see however another good option (I like it anyway) would be this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...tx980m-8gb-gddr5-gaming-laptop-lt-231-as.html

It's not as thin but it has a slightly better CPU, 512GB SSD compared to the Gigabyte 256GB and twice as much RAM as the Gigabyte. However it is thicker and weighs more so I suppose it depends how badly you need the laptop to be light/compact but personally I'd go for the ASUS every time

I'd still recommend the ASUS, it appears to have the best specs
