I'm in the market for a new gaming headset. I've currently got a Sennheiser GAME ONE which sounds great, as does the microphone, but I get a headache every single time I wear it. I think it's because it's too heavy. Although it's really padded, it constantly slides down and rests on top of my head, which eventually just causes a headache.

I'd like a high quality headset with a decent microphone, but it needs to be lightweight. Anyone got any suggestions? :)

Those Beyers, while great, are all hardly what I would call lightweight.

Most gaming headsets do tend to be fairly bulky though...

I would recommend the modmic too, then you can find a good quality set of headphones that suit you, as well as having a high quality microphone.

Have you looked at the sennheiser HD range. I've got beyerdynamics Dt 770s and some HD 518s...I would say the 770s are a better headphone but the HD 518s are so comfortable you don't know your wearing them....also got some fidelity X2 but they are a different story...
