Looking for a new metroidesque pc platformer, cant remember the name

I saw some videos of a guy playing a metroidesque platformer, you could zoom out quite far, and there was a giant end of level boss with lasers and pink gems you had to destroy.

It had quite a surreal art style, a bit like a colourful pink alien tunnels and.. hmm not sure what else to add.

Anyone know what i'm on about?

neither, unfortunately! I love HLD, and AV is on my radar. it is a bit more modern looking, less 8-bit retro graphics, side on like Axiom Verge though

found it! The pink i was thinking of in my hazy memory is the blood of the creature you are inside in this clip on youtube. PS4 :/ I will have to bite at some point, theres a few games I really want to play on the Sony.

I meant it more like poking fun at it, ive seen videos of people going insane playing it
