Looking for a new modem

At the moment I have a Netgear DM200 modem which I think is on the blink, has any one got any suggestions for a more up to date modem.

Rarely bothered with anything other than second hand BTOR modems off eBay. I don't really see the point for a modem but if you want to spend extra money unnecessarily then a Draytek Vigor V166. I did have what I think is its predecessor (V130) and it did precisely nothing of real world use more than a BTOR HG612 modem so I moved it on.

Depends on the cabinet you're on. As above the HG612 will do but I found the Vigor does better if you're on an ECI cabinet.

Are two separate better than combo? FTTC is super limited on vdsl units, they generally suck and will not touch TP-Link. Looking at the Asus DSL-AX82U or buying a modem with another router.
