I currently have a GDM-FW900, the best monitor ever made, however it is too big and too heavy for me to take back and forth to University. I need a cheap half-decent monitor for the term time, for mainly coding, work and the occasional game.
I am wanting something about 24 or so inches for about £120 - £250, but I am willing to spend up to about £500 for a larger monitor if it has a higher resolution (But then it would probably be my main monitor, which means that it will have to be very good at gaming).
I was looking at the Harzo 27" range, does anyone here have one. Also in the official thread there was the HZ27WA, but I can only find the HZ27WD. In addition the official thread stated the price lower then it is advertised on the website.
Also on a side note for those using large LCD\LED displays, at what low FPS does it start being a problem, because with my current CRT I can happily run a game at around 25 FPS, or even less, and for there to be no stutter. Also the pixels in my CRT isn't as defined as a LCD\LED (not sure if that is the correct terminology), which means that in affect I get free anti-a. So would this mean to get a comparable image on a LCD\LED I would need to have a higher FPS and anti-a?
Also is it worth waiting for a CES monitor to be released?
Any suggestions?
