Looking for a new monitor help required

Hi all, well I've just built a new system to find that being stupid my monitor isn't up to the job, looking to spend no more than £700 rearly, the specs of the system is i7 6600k, gtx 1070 and 32gb ram if that helps, would like a larger screen as well any help would be good

With your budget, and an nvidia card - there's no reason to not try out and go for 1440p and gsync.

Difference between these two is the fact that this is TN panel hence why being a little cheaper.

I was going to buy that Dell S2716DG when it was on offer last week for £450 but I missed it by one day and refused to pay £600 as I didn't think it was worth it for a TN panel.
You can get the Asus PG279Q for the full budget, that's the one I almost bought before settling on the X34a.

I didnt add the PG279Q as it's out of budget and stock at OCUK, but there places out there where it is stocked and within budget. I absolutely love mine may I add.
