I've got a 2 year old monitor that's unfortunately bleeding from the top so I want to get a new one. It's an Acer Predator XB271HUAbmiprz 144hz 27".

I'm looking for:
27" - 30"
120hz+
1440p - 4k
G-Sync compatible or ultimate
HDR
Price range of £300-£900
I sit about 2 feet from the monitor.

Games I usually play is Warframe and older games such as the Fallout series. I would like to be able to use the hdr feature from the newer games but I have no clue what monitors allow such. I see LG is a popular option but there's so many that I don't really know what the differences are. Any help would be appreciated.

With 125% more pixels 3840x2160 would certainly give superb image over 2560x1440.
Also mainstream/older games aren't too demanding at that resolution.

LG 27GN/GP950 is certainly excellent with very good response times and good for IPS contrast.
(GP version adds HDMI 2.1, which has also enough bandwidth to avoid need for DSC)

surface coating is semi glossy, so it can need avoiding light shinging directly onto screen.

gigabyte m28u is another one with inch more more size.
Gigabyte 28" M28U 3840x2160 4K SSIPS 144Hz 1ms HDR400 A-Sync Widescreen LED Backlit Gaming Monitor= £659.99
Contrast is some amount better and matte surface coating diffuses reflectiuns better, though input lag is slightly behind.
