Good evening chaps, I trust you had a happy new year assuming you can remember it. :p

Anyway I have around £50 for a new gaming mouse, I currently have a razor copperhead, now the reason why I would like a new one is cos of the discomfort I get from it. It forces me to partly claw it due to the rubber things. I don't mind mouses were it forces the fingers onto buttons etc, but in this case I have to get around the rubber grips.

I would like a mouse that is classed as a upgrade from my copperhead. Now I know I can get on very well with a g5, as my mate has one, in a game of counter strike they throught it was him playing, it was not it was me.

Anyway, that's the first gen I was referring to.

I seem to get on with "Eco" grip mouses like mx518 g5 etc but oddly I feel very comfy on the cyborg rat as well.

I do have a mouse mat, razor goliathus. I would like to know what you guys use on your gaming machines

Cheers

I went from a Copperhead to a Razer Deathadder and the lovely ppl at OcUK are offering that with a free boogie bug xl mat. I know you already have one but you could either sell it or your current one to your mate.

Never looked back to the Coperhead at all - I liked the shape of it and it only took me about a week or less to be full used to the Deathadder and knew that it would work from Day 1.

Excellent mouse.

I ll have to have a hold of the deathadder see what I think as it looks idenical to the copperhead sept for being a bit longer, its not lazer is it?

I was consdering a RAT 5 or the razor imperim but £50 is a bit steep imo

I do like the G500

Logitech G500 or G9/G9x (depending how big your hands are...)

The G500 is the replacement for my G5 and that is an awesome mouse!

Hmm looks like it would be the g500 than as it has more votes.

I ll tell ya how I get on with it... Ah looking at ocuk and it's out of stock :(

AMG,

Which games u tend to play nd do u need specific mouse-bound keycombos with delays and stuff ?

If no macros needed - i'd go for Deathadder.

Na I don't need marcos.. i do use TS a lot while gaming, and I do like IL2 and lock on etc as well as fps

the extra buttons will come into use for games like them or ARMA etc... alsoI m guessing most of those buttons are programmable to a in game fuction so its nice to have a mouse with that many buttons...its only £30 anyways plus its higher spec than the death adder andI have used one before, but that was the G5 model first gen
