looking for a new phone not sure whats out there.

hey folks

I am currently looking for a new phone as i'm sick of replacing screens on my sony z3.

was looking to spend ~100-120 new or used long as its in good nick

have been looking at asus zenfones but not sure on quality ect
then I've seen these xiaomi mi4 but again as above

just wondered peoples recommendations and opinions on what i could get or the phones above. pref stick to androids or windows if anyone has had both's and can give me an insight

Hi there,

Good quality 2nd hand LG G3's go for around the £100 mark at the moment. Fairly large screen, not much bezel at all, removable battery, MicroSD card slot, good spec processor and able to flash it with custom Rom (if that's your thing). Runs Android nicely

Check the Chinese phones thread for the last month or so to get a good idea on phones and prices/vendors in your price bracket, xiaomi phones are highly regarded.

realy? ohh thats good then they seem to have a decent spec what was confusing was the same phone has a lot of different cpu's and ram depending on the memory

Too right in my observation of the Chinese phone scene some manufacturers seem to have a monthly update cycle and each iteration has like a hundred variations.

In the last few China phone pages there's a link to one of the high spec Notes for sub £200 and the mi 4s one of my sons was looking at should dramatically drop in price too I expect.

i shall hang on for a bit longer see if the prices drop just have to put up with a "dealer" phone for awhile longer
