Hello there.

Well, my few years old Corsair GS600 just died, so I am looking for replacement.
Here is some info about my PC:

AMD FX-6 6300 4.20GHz (Socket AM3+) Six Core CPU
Corsair Hydro H40 Cooler
HIS HD 7950 3072MB GDDR5
16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard
SSD, HDD and other stuff.

So yea. Looking for a new 600+ (do I need more than 600?) PSU.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don't get fixated on Corsair as they are overhyped and mostly overpriced. Their cheaper units have cheap internals and are best avoided and most of the other's are overpriced compared to similar units from other manufacturers.

For your system a quality 550w psu is more than enough.

Hardwired (fixed cables)

My basket at Overclockers UK:

The Antec is built by Seasonic and has a dual 12v rail of 540w 12v rail and has a 5 year warranty.

The Superflowers are a single 12v rail design and the 550w version has 546w on it's 12v rail while the 650w version has 648w on it's 12v rail. Both units also have a 5 year warranty.

Modular

My basket at Overclockers UK:

The Superflower has a single 12v rail with the whole of it's 550w available on the 12v rail. It is fully modular and has a 5 year warranty. Be warned that it has bright white leds where you plug the cables in and they cannot be turned off.

The XFX is a Seasonic built unit with a single 12v rail of 540w. It is also fully modular and has a 5 year warranty.
