looking for a new router for virgin cable.

I need some help and i was suggested to post on here, hopefully you can advice me on what to get.

Bascially as the title say , im looking for a new router on a virgin cable connection not the adsl.

ok let me tell you what i need from the router - i do play a lot of pc and console gaming, and surf the net. At the moment I have got 6 devices that connect to the internet, 3 games console (wii, playstation 3 and xbox360 elite) 2 pc's and 1 laptop.
Xbox360 and one pc is hard wire via ethernet. the rest are conenct to wireless.

basically i need something that wont affect my internet performance on wireless and on LAN.

I dont mind about the price just needs to be a good piece of kit

current i have got the lynksis WRT54GS, but this is dying on me - keeps disconnecting

Would do the job and is almost the same as you have. I've got a Netgear Wireless-N which has Gigabit ports, so it is good if you have devices that support it.
