I've already got an assortment of camera bags however none currently cater for my latest requirement, looking for a rucksack styled bag that can carry:-

13" Macbook Pro (with charger)
One camera body with lens fitted
Spare lens
Flashgun
Small gimbal with GoPro attached
Spark drone and controller
Various batteries/cables/misc

All the kit won't be in it most of the time but need to get it all in when travelling. Would also be good if the bag offered a way of locking it and securing it down (i.e. to a table or sun lounger).

Any thoughts/recommendations?

Cheers
Andy

Did you know we have a general discussion thread sticky at the top of this page now for such thread like this ?
I didn't, however we all know as soon as something is make a sticky it becomes invisible. :p

The more i think about it the more I think I'm wanting to pack too much into a single bag to make it practical. I've got an old LowePro roller backpack and whilst it can fit in everything and the kitchen sink its massive and bloody heavy (even when empty).

So on revision, I'll stick the drone stuff in a separate bag as I ideally want to be able to carry this bag around with me during the day.

A bag like that would be good going from point A to B, i.e. home to hotel, then hotel to home. I wouldn't want to carry the laptop out whilst shooting for example.

Well that's what I'm kinda after, something I can put everything in for the flight/travelling to hotel, then once there it would be used as a day bag by the pool/beach/evening bar to take camera and video stuff with me.

Just got a Mindshift Backlight 26L which may fit the bill.
Worth looking up.

I got it mainly for traveling as it will take a 15 inch laptop and loads of camera gear.
Laptop will live in the hotel but I will then have my camera gear safely stored for walking about.

I’ve bought 4 bags in the last month or so. I wish someone would just make the perfect bag.

I have 2 backpacks, 2 messenger bags, 2 carry on wheel case and a large pelican case which sits at home.

I stay away from bags that carries everything because when it has everything in, it’s too heavy. I rather use a wheelie in that instance. One of my backpacks can fit a lot, and thus I don’t use it. My Crumpler Base Park I use all the time because it’s more a 50/50 bag, 1 body, 2 lenses and then a laptop and 1 main compartment for anything, headphones, charger etc.

Yes I have the lowepro pro runner 450 II and when you put everything in it you can barely lift it lol.
I just want a small backpack now for carrying the 150-600 S, I have a messenger bag but they’re not really for me so it sits unused.
