Hello everyone

I am looking for an experienced PC builder that has a good eye for detail/quality and a passion for building PC's to bring in and be part of 1 of a few unique projects am working on.

I am based in London along with someone am working with on this particular project so ideally we would like the builder to be located there, areas close by will be okay and areas further away will be considered based on other factors like experience etc.

This is a long-term project and a very good opportunity for the builder.

If you are serious and interested could you send a email to Dealz416[at]gmail.com with the following information

Age:
Location:
PC building experiences (Years):
Number of systems built:
Time it takes you per system:
Water-cooling experience:
Over-clocking experience:

If you prefer to leave the information 'above' in this thread then thats fine just make sure to leave a contact email address so that i can get back to you.

Thanks to everyone who responds, i'll try to get back everyone.

@ Moderators am not promoting a competitor etc just looking for an experience PC builder, as although I've built a PC myself its just not enough experience

Its "I am" not "Am"

Thanks for pointing that out.

What's the pay like?

Pay would be extremely good as the project has a lot of potential.

Can we have a little more information on what project your trying to undertake? Why not build a PC yourself, it's dead easy these days - just like putting lego together

I hope you understand that i don't want to reveal information about this particular project due to the unique nature of it. I know i could build the systems as i have in the past but i need a builder with the relevant experience and passion for it.

Age:39
Location:camberley
PC building experiences:built 1 i7 gaming rig
Number of systems built:1
Time it takes you per system:good couple of days
Water-cooling experience:none
Over-clocking experience:very limited

i'm looking for ~£80k a year with 2 months holiday, msg me your number and we can arrange a start for next week.

Thank you for your response, however you don't have the experience am seeking.

I am build 100's of PC's.

If you could fill out the rest of the information that would be appreciated.

pity you are in London.

Where are you located? Derbyshire?

yeah Derbyshire.

Okay then if you want to provide the other information i'll have a look at it.

Some people can't even put lego together. I knew I would see silly stupid responces when opening this thread.

OP.... because you post as seeking someone people think your not genuine. May be wise to post more info otherwise people will just come in for the heck of it to laugh. :)

If some people want to jump to conclusions and think am not genuine that's there problem. I don't feel comfortable providing more information on a forums where anyone can easily take my idea. The idea/system isn't only being used for custom built PC's but in other things as well. One of those (consumer electronics) am in the process of launching by the end of this year/early 2012 that one is part of a brand that is already running in the US dealing in Travel, Leisure and Lifestyle. People that are serious am happy to hear from and if they fit in with what am looking for there will be a very good long-term opportunity for that person.

I'm presuming you are looking for someone to build systems with designed for single-threaded performance?

The systems to be built are high spec PC's for Media/Gaming etc

I'm I'm I'm

Thanks for pointing that out.

Only if you are a terrible businessman :p - nobody with business nouse would pay 'extremely good' to somebody doing a job which usually pays quite poorly - there is simply no need! You only need to pay a tad better than 'terrible' to attract the better people.

Point taken, Not your usual business so not the usual pay.

I'm the best there is. But unfortunatly for you I am based closer to Newcastle.

If you still want to provide the information requested you can do.

Who taught you "am" means "I am"?

My mistake thanks to those who pointed that out.

depends on the systems and profit margin which, if the OPs head is screwed on is likely to come from the installation/support/tech consulting & advice.

for example (and this is the only one I could think of outside which would warrant such dollar dollar pay) if the business is building high end home media PCs and servers capable of gaming, streaming films & music round the house and you are including the audio and visual system so hi end 50" TVs or full home theatres then the pay could be pretty high. The sorts of systems / package that probably start at £5k but are likely to be £10-£50K

oh and to follow the theme of this thread, assuming you have the right contacts, customer orders lined up with a book value of at least 400k, I'm in
Yes i do have my head screwed on, far to may people jumping to conclusions that this thread is a joke just because they haven't got there head screwed on and can't think of a business model that can generate high revenue. It can be done if your smart and can think outside the box

Business model doesn't work like this, Its better ;)

Given the above is a quote from the jobs section of this very site, why has the OP not had his nuts chewed yet for effectively being a competitor???

And another thing, given that I've been screwing about with computers & soldering etc since the early 80's if I honestly thought I could make a decent wage from building the things do you think I'd drive a truck for a living?

That is why I think the OP is full of it to be blunt (how unlike me! :o ) ;)

I am not here to argue with anyone as don't have time for that, i'm just looking for an experienced PC builder that has a passion for it. You need to expand your knowledge further then start thinking outside the box, I obviously know something you don't and building high-end PC's is just one of a few things that i plan to do that have huge potential to be lucrative. Like i said i'm further along in one of my projects (consumer electronics) which is set to launch late 2011/early 2012 that particular one will be part of a brand that already is running in the US since last year.

No information about the job. No information about pay. Bugger off.

I never said it was a job, I said "to bring in and be part of 1 of a few unique projects am working on" yes eventually when the builder starts to build the PC's they wouldn't be doing it for free, the builder may even end up being fully part of the project and owning a % depending on what else they can bring to the table either way its a very good opportunity for the builder.

If people want to carry on with there rude posts without knowing the facts that's there problem doesn't bother me in the slightest and i haven't got the time to entertain them. Time is money and there is plenty of money to be made and my future to create, working 9-5 everyday for the rest of my life for a pay only enough to get by isn't my idea of fun.
