As title really.
We will be jetting off somewhere hot and sunny for 10 days to two weeks soon and was thinking of getting some serious equipment but decided to just go with a good quality P&S. The better gear will follow once we get back.
I have stopped taking part in the photography hobby a few years back after selling my Nikon. I am however looking to get back into it and so is my other half.
Ideally we are looking for a compact that has a optical zoom and not digital if that's possibly at all. Not really fussed about the budget but anything around £150-£250 is ok.
Nikon Cool-Pix is one I have used before but that was a fair few years back now. I guess they have improved some what. I could be wrong.
Any others I should consider before taking the plunge?
