Hello, I recently bought a GTS250 512mb card to replace the old rubbish card that came with my (OEM) PC. Previously a 350w psu had sufficed, But now I'll obviously need something a bit bulkier.
Being a bit of a novice when it comes to hardware, I'm unsure as to what kind of PSU i'll need. I've heard about all the dangers that can come from choosing the wrong PSU (rubbish brands, too little wattage etc.) and was wondering if I could get a bit of input before I buy.
My PC will also be running a Q6600 (Default 2.4 clock), 2x1tb wd caviar green, dvdrw, and (obviously) the GTS250. My price range is somewhere around the £60-£70 mark, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
