Scythe SlipStream is acoustically clearly the best fan I've listened but still it's also one of the most affordable...
I guess it's just easier for manufacturers to lie because they don't loose their head from doing that.
The P193 seems to have issues with tall heatsink. Never straight forward.
Common issue in all cases with fashionable side fan... which mostly just disturbs airflow and in others than P193 leaks noise directly out.
And CM Cosmos S has had some "reliability" problems with some side fans... more precisely blades dropping off. (also big top fan has caused some resonances in some CMs)
Cheaper to replace too much vibrating components with acoustically good ones and get combination mat lining to case with otherwise sound design...
Actually in Germany there's at least five brands offering combination damping mats for computers and most of them also ready cut sets for some cases.
yes that's what i need, because my SATA wont fit in in the bay area above intake fans, not enough room to get a 70 mm fan in( i just tried it out) it'll have to go on the floor, underneath PCI...
at least there i have good ventilation, but it'll spoil the clean look of the interior, i'm not happy about this; that SATA will need cleaning up, it has an ugly great sticker on the top.... but i can cover this over with matt black film...this is a bit depressing
