I'm looking for a 1 maybe 2 camera setup, would like to keep it really simple without going OTT on stuff I don't need.
What I'd like is a motion detect PoE camera that has some software onboard to record straight to a network share, and overwrite after ~3-4 days. The Hikvision DS-2CD2032 looks a good camera, but I'm not sure if I need specific software running to record to the video - or if it can be controlled with the onboard camera software?
