Hey all!

I am looking for a SLIM NB. Preferably 15.6" with decent graphics.

It has to be small because I wan't to take it into work everyday on the train :(

I HATE TRAINS!

Anyway, any recommendations? P.s If I am paying over 1k, I want all the latest things inside :)
 
Read about some reviews on the GS60 with GTX870 version - it seems the machine gets very hot.

GS60 with GTX860 can be considered, or Gigabyte P35W v2 (GTX870) could also fit in your requirement nicely.

If you want a very cool design, slim and portable then the P35K-CF4 (OCUK code - LT-008-GI) is an excellent choice.

You are getting 2 x 128gb SSD in raid + Hard-drive, 16GB ram, GTX765 graphics and Blu-ray writer as an added bonus !

This unit has just been discounted heavily as the graphics are not "latest" but are excellent all the same. Still high end rather than mid range.

Just so you realise how much value is here, the price is £400 cheaper than when it was launched. You wont get better value than this.

The nearest MSI GS60 (LT-127-MS) is £100 more, and you MISS OUT ON:

A full HD IPS display, additional 8GB ram, 1 x 128SSD, graphics is GTX860 so very little difference to the GTX765, (http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-860M-vs-GeForce-GTX-765M) and with the GS60 there is no optical drive, and the Gigabyte has Blu-Ray writer !

This P35 unit is the clear winner on all fronts.

With the P35K to accompany you on your commute to work, I think you may even start to enjoy trains and not want to get off !
